Detail of an inside-out Satin Sash being turned the right way around using a length of navy blue polka-dot ribbon which I safety pinned to the inside before I started sewing. A very useful trick when making long tubes which need to be turned inside-out ! The lush golden fabric is from Japan, which is part of the reason I chose it.
